When VivaDialog is the better fit
If you use ManyChat for a handful of comment and DM automations and the bill is the problem, VivaDialog is worth a look. ManyChat charges by active contacts, so a post that brings in a crowd can move you up a plan. VivaDialog charges a flat price per workspace instead. The bill stays the same when a post takes off; the plan’s monthly quotas are what you use up.
When we checked ManyChat’s pricing page on 18 October 2026, Pro was $29 a month billed yearly for 2,500 contacts. VivaDialog’s plans run from $7 a month (Silver) to $35 a month (Diamond), or 20% less billed yearly. The two are not counted the same way: ManyChat counts contacts, VivaDialog counts conversations and AI replies per month. Flat vs per-contact pricing walks through what each model does when a post goes viral.
What VivaDialog does
- One inbox for comments and DMs from Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, and Threads, with tags, assignments, team notes, and a contacts list with stages.
- Keyword rules that reply with fixed text or with AI, on comments, DMs, or both. A rule can be limited to chosen posts, skip messages with words like “refund”, and wait a few minutes before it replies.
- A private DM to people who comment on Facebook and Instagram, on top of the public reply. Meta allows one per comment.
- One reminder DM up to 23 hours later if the customer has not written back.
- AI replies included in every plan, with a monthly quota and no credits to buy. The AI answers only from the facts you write into the rule. You can also use your own AI key.
- Threads replies in the same inbox, answered by hand or by rules. See how to auto-reply to comments on Threads.
Every connection goes through Meta’s official login and APIs.
What you give up
VivaDialog does less than ManyChat today. Stay with ManyChat, or keep it next to VivaDialog, if you need:
- WhatsApp, TikTok, SMS, Telegram, or email. VivaDialog covers Facebook, Instagram, and Threads only.
- Long multi-step flows in a visual builder. VivaDialog rules are one trigger and a short list of actions, plus at most one reminder.
- A free plan. VivaDialog has no free plan. A free trial without a card opens after the beta.

How to switch
There is no import from ManyChat, so you rebuild your automations as rules.
- Write down the ManyChat automations you actually use: the keywords, the public reply, and the DM text.
- Connect your Facebook Page and Instagram account to VivaDialog.
- For each automation, create a rule from the closest template. Comment INFO, get the details by DM covers the most common ManyChat setup. How to send an automatic DM when someone comments shows it step by step.
- Use Test it first on each rule with a sample comment.
- Switch off the matching automation in ManyChat before you switch the rule on, so a comment does not get two replies.
Meta’s limits apply to every tool the same way: one private DM per comment, within 7 days of the comment, and replies to DMs within the 24-hour messaging window. Is Instagram comment automation safe? explains the limits VivaDialog adds on top.
Questions
Can I use VivaDialog and ManyChat on the same account? Yes, but give each automation to one tool only. If both answer the same keyword, the commenter gets two replies, and Meta allows only one private DM per comment, so the second tool’s DM fails.
Is VivaDialog available now? It is in a closed beta with 15 seats. A free trial without a card opens after the beta. Usage limits for paid plans may still change before public launch.
Does VivaDialog count contacts? No. Plans have monthly quotas for conversations and AI replies. A conversation counts once a month, when the first reply goes out to it. See what counts as a conversation.
